Taking a long drag from her smoke, Jessie pull it from her full lips as she released a puff of smoke. The bar was crowded as it was every friday night, wall to wall people, most of them drunk or hookers looking for a good times. Several had walked up to her but she turned them down. She wasn't here looking to get laid but simply waiting for the right time. Sighing, she took a sip from her nearly empty glass of whiskey before montioning the bartender over.
"Hey Jack, any chance can I get this refilled?" Jessie asked as she fished her flask from her jacket pocket.
The balding bartender gave a smirk before picking it up, "Anytime Jess, give me two seconds" with that, he walked off towards the shelves of alcohol on the other side of the bar. Jessie nodded before downing the rest of her drink then setting the glass back down and placing a ten dollar bill next to it. She got up and fixed the collar of her brown leather jacket before running a hand through her raven hair, ruffling it a bit before heading over to where Jack was finishing refilling her flask.
"Here ya go Jess" Jack said, his thick hand handed it back to her as she took it with grace.
"Thanks" she replied, tucking it back into the inside of her jacket.
Jack noticed as she pulled her jacket open to put the flask it, a handgun resting well on her slim hip in a barely seen hostler. Along with the gun, she had a knife tucked in her shoulder hostler and a taser.
"Ah....you going somewhere Jessie?" He asked, placing on hand on his bald forehead before running it to the back of his neck, "I mean.....you seem like you are...."
Jessie looked up at him with narrowed eyes before she pulled the smoke out from her lips, "Yeah...going on a little trip with some friends....."
"After Adan are ya?" he questioned, watching several emotions run pass her eyes.
"Ye...yeah....... he deserves what's coming to him" she muttered in response before turning to the door, "Bye Jack"
Jack let out a long sigh, "See ya Jess" A single thought ran past his mind as he went back to tending customers and washing glasses.
Would he ever see her again?
Stepping out of the bar, the silent night air seemed odd to her ears as she had grown used to the blaring music of the live bar inside. Pulling her collar closer to her neck, Jessie started her way towards the meeting area which remained a few blocks down. She gave a final drag of her smoke before tossing it on the ground and let out the last puff, watching as it mixed with her cold breath in the freezing night. Her skin had grown use to it though, she usually walked around at night without a jacket but she didn't want to startle anyone with her weapons so she had finally put her birthday present from Jack to use.
She paused in front of a dark alley, her trained eyes scanning the area before she slowly stepped in, letting the darkness surround her.
"About time" a voice muttered before flames from a lighter was seen, lightly up the women's face as she lit the cigarette between her lips, "Thought I would be like the cavemen by the time you came"
Jessie ignored the commented as she let her eyes adjust to the darkness, now able to see the two awaiting women. The one with the light was Looter, with red hair that could be seen from anywhere and knife skills known around the world. She had come dressed in her usual jacket reading 'A Thousand Daggers Before Dying' on the back with her trademark ripped and blood stained jeans, the ones she wore to every knife fight she was challenged to. Hair pulled back into a long, low ponytail with several bangs dancing in her face yet anyone could see the long, scar over her left eye, her most famous trademark. She stood at a good 5' 9'' feet tall and every inch was rippling with muscle, then again if you were a knife fighter, you had to be strong.
The second women they called Zombie, since she lived through pretty much any fight or stunt, also because she had broken every bone in her body at least once in her 23 year lifespan and had hundreds of scars to prove it. Her blonde hair was cut short and spiked up to avoid it getting yank when she engaged in a fight with male or female. She had several barbell ear piercings and two eyebrow pirecings to go with her tongue piercing. She was dressed in her favorite blue hoodie and baggy jeans that resembled Looter's in a way. She remained at 5'5'' and 135 pounds of pure muscle, which rippled under the skin of her arms and her six pack. Zombie was a gang fighter and was always nursing a new wound every week which explained her sharp tongue and harsh language but she was skilled in both hand-to-hand combat and shoot outs. Her trademark was her eyes, which resembled a mood ring since the color changed to match her mood.
"Alright......so everyone ready?" Jessie asked, looking at the two, "Loot'...Lily knows you're going right? Zomb'...the rest of your gang is under another leadership right?"
Looter took a long sigh, "She's not happy but she knows it's for a good cause"
"Regina's in command, I trust her enough" Zombie replied, her voice husky form the cold.
"Good......" Jessie sighed in the night air, her breath coming out as mist, "well......we all know the plan so lets hop to"
Zombie nodded and stepped out onto the sidewalk, followed by her two sisters.
Well they weren't blood sisters but all taken in by the same man after horrible events had fallen upon their blood families.
Looter's family was all killed in a robbery attempt aside from her two younger sisters who were taken in by their aunts, who rejected the older girl for some reason. However, that fact never seemed to bother the red head since she was eventually taken in by this man in a long black tench coat.
Jessie's family was completely wiped out by their disranged father who chose his mistress over his wife and three kids. He later would kill them in the cold night but found himself unable to deal the fatal blow to a already injured Jessie as the tench coat man stopped him. She still suffers from nightmares of that night.
Zombie's own family was fine until her mother passed away after a drunk driver struck her car. Since then, her father had grown more and more abusive every day until the tench coat guy had taken her under his wing and never allowed her to go back to a hellhole of a home.
The tenchcoat guy's name was Aldric and he was feared by the surrounding towns and villages for being powerful enough to destroy them all with a mere thought, a myth he told them which was not true, he couldn't destroy them all with a thought, some needed more power than others. He took under his wing and showed them that family wasn't always a bad thing. He raised them with the best intention and ever taught them how to fight, fix things, even a few magic spells he felt that they needed to know. He was their father and they were sisters under one roof, blood or not. It was how he raised them and how they continued to live.
"Zombie.........." she shook the thoughts out of her head and looked over at Jessie, "You alright....?"
"yeah.......just thinking about Aldric....that's all" she replied, watching as the two smiled.
Looter chuckled, "hellva man"
"yeah he is" Jessie agreed, a sigh escaping her lips.
Thinking about their foster father only reminder her of their shared childhood, which only brought back memories of their other sister, Felicia.........the one Adan killed to get their attention. Rage and anger pulsed through her veins even as his name came to her mind.
"Hey Jessie, calm down" Looter spoke, her eyes noticing a faint glowing under the sleeve of Jessie's right arm.
A mark........a brand laid under the sleeve, tattooed into her sister's skin forever marking itself as a curse. The girl's father, Adan gave it to her before Aldric ran him off. Anyone in any town could tell you the mark, what it was and what it meant.
Wolf of the Night.
A mark that ensured that she would be the next in line after Adan died, to take his position as such a damned job. To be the leader of such a violent species, to judge on whether people should die or live, to determine the fate of one species.
Werewolves.
Yeah, Jessie was one but she never transformed, not even under a full moon. Her will and body fought such transformation and won everytime, however every inner fight as such took minutes off her lifespan as her wolf blood had to repair her damaged insides and when her skin ripped open. She would never allow such a thing to happen as it was exactly what Adan expected of her. Since she had not died that night, he could not pass the mark to another one of his children from his mistress and sense that was the case, he was set out to either kill her or force her to train the wolf inside so that when he passed, his legacy would continue.
Something she made sure would never happen until three weeks ago when he came to this very town and killed their fourth sister, using her blood to write on the wall that he would be waiting for her in the bordering country if she wanted revenge.
"Jessie........pay attention" Zombie growled, shaking her sister by the shoulder roughly, knocking her from her thoughts.
Shaking her head, Jessie let out an angry sigh, "Sorry.......I was thinking about when I kill Adan with my own bare hands"
"Don't we all" Looter commented, putting an arm around Jessie's shoulders, "Now lets get to it and find that bastard and kill him for good"
Jessie nodded, "Yeah, lets go"

A heavy sigh left his bruised lips as Crow eyed himself in his bathroom mirror, which was a bit difficult since a huge crack went from one corner to the opposite. His fire red hair was in its usual messy form as he ran a finger over the scar over his left eye. Two long scars over the top of his eye and one long one below it, like a crow's foot.
After all, that's how he got his name. His scar was his trademark. Something that made him known.
Aside from his stunning good looks and he wasn't even being egotistic.
His long hair bares his strong shoulders as it curved around his very chiseled face. His green eyes were like emeralds in the sunlight and rare gems at night.
His body structure was considered beautiful by many women. Muscles rippled under every inch of his skin, his chest was broad yet thin at the same time, his hands were gruff to look at but his pads remained angel soft to whoever he landed them upon. He had a long line of thin, red hair running down his chest before it disappeared under the hem of his jeans, which he dubbed his 'happy trail'
As beautiful as he was in women's eyes, he remained a failure in his own. His father's rough words still rang in his ears. His harsh, drunken voice screaming at him in the silence of the room. Crow was never the same since his brother's death, neither was his family.
Raven died from an argument that turned violent and his mother died from grief over her lost son as his father turned to anything from alcohol to drugs to forget both deaths. Of course, whenever his father was looking for someone else to stick the blame to, he turned to Crow.
His words scarred the nine year old for life and now turned 18, he never overcame those scars or fears.
Of course, his father was put in jail for abuse and the murder of another women whom he had had an affair with during his marriage and produced a child with. But the years of abuse and scarring still stayed with the teenager who had long matured past his age.
Crow looked at the empty eyes that stared back at him in the mirror. He still bared the bruises from a recent fight he engaged in with some street punk. His lips were busted and a huge bruise was forming on the corner of his mouth but he left that guy begging for his life in the alleyway.
Something he ignored.
Another sigh echoed in his ears as he closed his eyes for a mere moment. He felt empty as always. Which was the result of his body being covered from head to toe in scars, all self inflicted dating back to being nine years old to recently last week. The pink scars was seen clearly through his blue fur as not one inch of skin remained untouched.
What was he?
"A failure" his father's voice answered in his head.
"As always" Crow muttered to himself, his eyes drifting to the knife he always left laying on the sink. His heart was always there to stop him but today his mind was more overpowering as his fingers gently touched the handle of the two inched blade.
Would this next cut end his horrible life or would it join the others on his body as a reminder of his failure? He hesitated before grabbing the handle and picking it off the marble sink.
Suddenly his ears perked up at the sound of his front door being closed. Crow placed the knife back door before leaving his bathroom, heading down the stairs.
he stepped into his full living room which featured a leather couch, a love seat, two white leather seats and glass coffee table which was covered with empty beer bottles and a flat screen t.v on the wall. Emerald eyes looking around before noticing the new figure enter the room from the kitchen.
Pushing a long pink-dyed bang from her face, Annie let out a long sigh and settled heavily on the couch with a beer in one hand. She popped her beer open before taking a long drink from it. The cold liquid tasted good as she placed the bottle on the coffee table, next to the empty ones. Groaning at her sore muscles, Annie quickly discarded her work jacket, revealing a tight white tank top underneath before she laid down on the couch, stretching her legs out.
"Rough day?" she looked up as Crow entered the room, emerald eyes questioning with a smirk on his healing face.
"Don't get me started" she whined, sitting up as he took a seat next to her.
He was always home before her since he went to work early. Most of the time he was sleeping in their shared bedroom but it was a bit of a surprised to see him awake. Annie gave a sad smile and leaned over to nuzzle his cheek.
Of all the people in his life, Annie prided herself to be the only one to ever understand him and the only one who could handle his horrible mood swings and drinking habit. She was pretty much all he had left in his life and always there to comfort him but not even her warm heart could break the barrier around his.
Crow smiled as she nuzzled him, a rare sign of affection he had grown use to. He meet Annie seven years ago in a park and they've been close since then. She was there when he needed her and even left her job when he was suffering from another depression attack. She saved him from a life of Hell. She was the only thing that kept him going when things were rough. Every verbal attack from his father was always forgotten when he was around her. Her warmth just made his problems melt every time and surrounded him with comfort.
"So damn clients again" Crow guessed as Annie buried her head into his shoulder, giving a heavy sigh.
"Yes.......nothing pisses me off more than they do. Besides Aries, he pisses me off a bit more" Annie sighed once more.
Crow gave a soft growl. Aries was her womanizing co-worker who had one too many passes at her. He offered to go to her work and have a word with this 'Aries' guy but Annie insisted he left it go and that she would take care of it.
Crow yawned before rubbing his scarred eye. He was exhausted from work but never took that nap he usually did when he got home. He was distracted by himself. His eyes watched as Annie got up and headed to their shared bedroom, saying she was going to change. Taking the chance, he stretched out on the couch and tucked his hands behind his head, closing his eyes for a moment.
Slipping into another top and some shorts, Annie ruffled her blond hair and headed into the bathroom. Turning the sink on, she cupped her hands together and let the water fill them before she splashed it onto her face, waking her up a bit before she turned the sink off. Shaking the water off, she looked at herself in the mirror.
Pink bangs with blond hair. Perked ears with several piercings. Baby blue eyes and a scar over her snout from a fight with some guy a few years back.
A slender neck and slim yet strong shoulders. A muscular body with full breasts and long legs. Her stripes were perfectly coordinated with each other as her tail fluttered behind her.
Scratching the back of her neck, she noticed the knife on the sink. An object she never moved despite the harm it brought.
She was fully aware of Crow's problem but she vowed to never stop him from something he wanted. She told him that he could run his life and if he ever wanted to end it, she wouldn't voice her opinion. Of course, she knew he would never really do, he loved her too much to leave her behind.
That she knew for a fact.
Pushing the thoughts out of her head, Annie left the bathroom and headed back to the living room to find her red headed boyfriend dead asleep on the couch. One legs hung off the couch as the other one was propped up on the arm of the couch.
A smile crept to her face as she watched him sleep. His blue fur was ruffled as usual and his stripes weren't so coordinated but more random as his tail joined the leg on the floor. She walked over and climbed onto the couch, laying her body on top of his and rested her cheek on his chest, her ear able to hear his beating heart. She slid her arms around his neck as her legs slipped between his.
The soft rhyme of the beating gently sang her to sleep as Annie relaxed to the sound, glad to listen to it for one more day.
This one was rare moment for them, a time when they both could just relax and enjoy one another's presence in the comfort of their shared home.
But would moments like this help her save his scarred soul from himself?

The rain fell like crazy as Enrico and the others quickly made their way back to the other two waiting for them. By the time the arrived, everyone was soakening wet and really unable to see through the heavy rainfall around them.
"Alright, find a place quick" Enrico order as he smooth his hair back. Most stores were full of some creatures but they would have to make best of what they had.
Forest nodded as he looked over at their captain. The rain seemed to make him stand out more as he only looked into the far distance. A smile came to Forest's face, he knew Enrico only looked out for them and in the end, he would put his team forward despite his wife and family at home. That was a true man.
Rebecca pushed a wetted bang from her face as her team got closer, all ready with their bats anything else they found. She pushed herself off the car, managing to find some kind of balance on her injured leg, which didn't last long as she nearly stumbled forward. But her body was caught before she lost too much balance and despite the rain, she managed to look up at who caught her.
"Maybe you shouldn't walk on it for awhile" Kenneth chuckled before helping her straighten up a bit.
"I'm fine" She replied with a faint blush before feeling him let go of her arms. She got the feeling of tipping again and quickly grabbed back onto his forearms, "I'm sorry...."
Kenneth chuckled softly again before hooking his arms under her knees and around her shoulders, lifting her up with a soft grunt, "I've got up."
"It's....it's really unnecessary" Rebecca muttered as she wrapped her arms around his neck.
"You know if you gained ten pounds, you'd be lighter than feather" Kenneth teased as he caught up with the rest of the moving team.
Richard looked back and watched as Kenneth caught up with them, Rebecca tight in his arms. It took someone like Kenneth to realize how small she really was, how frail and harmless her body appeared. But everyone knew she had a temper on her and was sharp on comebacks. He chuckled at the memory of her chewing Forest out cause he messed with her medic items.
"Hold it!" Enrico said, holding his hand out to motion to stop. Bravo team came to a silent stop, only the raining in their ears.
"What is it?" Forest questioned, bring his baseball bat up.
Enrico didn't reply as his eyes searched the scene in front of him. The rain was so heavy he could barely see two feet in front of him but movement somehow got his attention.
A flash!
He had seen it before. Somewhere. Quickly, he took a step back, watching as the dark figure slowly appoarched them. Narrowing his eyes, Enrico was quick to shove Forest, who stood next to him, to the ground as the creature lunged.
The force of a semi truck stuck him as claws sank in his board chest, sending him flying backwards, both him and the creature tumbling across the wetted road.
Forest hit the ground hard, unprepared for the push. The contact with the ground woke him up as he quickly looked around through the rain filled scene. He couldn't see Enrico in the heavy rain but he could hear the sound of a struggle.
"Fuck!" He growled, scrambling to his feet before looking at the rest of the team, who shared the same confused expression, "what happened?!"
"I don't know, but lets go see" Edward shouted over the rain and quickly set with Forest to see where their captain went.
Richard turned to help but a sudden pain in his back spreading to his hip. Crying out, he whipped around to see the ugly skinless face of a chimera, its claws whipping closer at him as a terrible, almost deafening shriek left it. Taking a huge step back, Richard quickly brought up his axe and swung, catching the creature right in the face as it lunged. Shrieking louder, it began to swing its claws more swifter and more often, every swing slit into his arms and shoulders before one caught his cheek, ripping it open wide before he withdrew the axe and delivered the fatal blow. Once the axe slammed into the neck, the black blood sprayed out and dressed his shirt and face with its glory.
"fucking Umbrella" he muttered before ripping his axe out and turning around to see Kenneth take off to where Forest and Edward went. He sighed before quickly making his way across the street, spotting the faint outlines of Rebecca and Kevin.
She watched Kenneth take off, promising he would be back, thankful Kevin was there. Her ears picked up several growls and snarls from the surrounding buildings but the rain blinded them to a foot in front of them.
"fuck" Kevin muttered as he raised his tire iron, watching as a figure walked over to them. Getting closer, he saw the blood and slumped shoulders.
fucking zombies.
Not even waiting for it to get closer, he leaped forward and swung, hitting it clean in the head.
Richard felt a blow to his head, knocking him flat off his feet and roughly onto the ground. His head thundered like a marching band as he felt blood trickle down from his temple. His whole body felt a fuzzy numbness and his arms felt heavy as he grasped his head.
"dude, what the hell!" he exclaimed, although his own voice sounded distance.
"Oh fuck, man I am so sorry, I thought you were a zombie" Kevin spat out as he reached down to help Richard up, spotting the place where the tire iron split his head open, "Damn"
Richard shook it off, he had been hit worse than that before. Keeping a hand to his head, he looked at the two, both were shivering from the rain but also straining their eyes to see beyond the rain.
Enrico growled as the baseball bat he held was the only thing seperating him from a grusome death as it was wedged between the jaws of a massive lion. The left eyes was missing as chunks of fur were gone and some muscle falling apart. The massive paws were on either side of his head, able to crush him if it intended too.
With a massive roar, the lion brought both jaws together and shattered the bat with a simple force. With drool dripping from its rotting mouth, the lion let out a thunderous roar before lunging forward, teeth bared.
Enrico closed his eyes and waited for a painful death, which never came. A grunt caught his attention as he shot his eyes open and watched as Kenneth threw the beast off.
"never let ya down" Kenneth muttered, helping Enrico up before hearing a roar, "get ready"
Enrico nodded before watching as the lion lunged at them, which both dodged with a fly dodge. Landing roughly, Enrico got to his knees before noticing a broken pipe near him, the end at a dangerous point. With a crazy idea, he took it and dashed back to see the lion prowling up on Kenneth, who was blinded by the rain.
"HEY!" Enrico shouted as the lion cocked its rotting head to him before running over at full speed.
Planning just right, he thrusted the pipe up right as the lion lunged at him, feeling it disappear under the flesh as the two went tumbling to the ground once more, only the pipe had sucessfully killed the lion with a stab right through the chest.
Wiping the blood from his face, Enrico kicked the corpse off him before getting up, pain pumbing through his body as the lion had slit his chest open before dying. It was nothing as he stumbled into the road, meeting Kenneth halfway.
"I have to thank you for early" Enrico said.
"It was nothing, you killed that thing" Kenneth replied as he ran a hand over his face, "Where is Edward and Forest, they took off before me?"
Forest took off running towards where he last saw Enrico. Pushing himself against the rain, he slowed to a trot, listening for anything that could mean his captain's whereabouts. He trotted by a parked car, unaware as a hand shot out and grabbed his ankle with an iron grip, causing the southern man to fall forward. Forest felt his face break off the car's side mirror as he tumbled to the ground. Giving a shout, he twisted onto his back and slammed the heel of his boot into the zombie's revealed face, feeling it sink inward before he withdrew his foot, which came back with all sorts of gore on it.
"Fucking zombies" he muttered as blood poured from his forehead, nose and lips.
Edward saw the outline of whatever had attacked Enrico before another force struck him in the side, sending him skidding painfully across the payment. He barely regained his composer before another body fall onto of him.
The skin was rot to touch as he kept the being from his body by holding it arm's length away. Not only was the skin rotten but it was blood red while claws grew from the fingers.
"Crimson head..." Edward muttered as he tried to keep the dangerous zombie back. He had only heard of these beings before from Rebecca, of course they didn't believe her and thought she was only trying to scare them, which surprisingly wasn't hard. But nope, one was right in front of him...well more like on top of him.
with a horrible growl, the crimson head lunged and sank its teeth into Edward's shoulder, shaking its head side to side before tearing a chunk out.
"Ah fucker!" Edward swore before kicking the beast off.
It only went a few feet away before it whipped back up, moving with such speed that he barely managed to get to his feet before it was upon him once more.
Its claws dug into his arms as Edward forcedfully threw it off, tearing his arms. Thinking fast, he grabbed the baseball bat he dropped and repeatedly struck the zombie in the head against the sidewalk until brains leaked out and the head wasn't even near the same shape as before. He wiped the sweat from his face before turning at the sound of women scream, which set him into a race as he bursted towards it.
Richard waited until the throbbing in his heart died down a bit before looking around, "So any idea where to go?"
"No, it.....it's all....zombies and creatures from here and down" Rebecca stuttered as she rubbed her arms to keep warm.
"D....damn" Kevin replied, following her suit before hearing the sound of running feet, "what's that!"
"I don't hear anything" Richard commented before the sound reached his ears over the throbbing, "Wait...what is it?"
Rebecca strained to hear the noise, the sound of rain echoed around her as she looked around the sideway they were waiting on. Her eyes only caught movement a bit late before it hit her square in the chest. A surprised scream left her lips as she tumbled to the ground, her hands finding the souce as it grabbed onto a chunk of white fur.
Richard flung to see what happened before something sharp sank into his back. he yelped before reaching back to grab ahold of whatever it was. Teeth sank into his fingers before he still grabbed it and flung it off, watching as a zombie monkey struck the windsheild of a car.
"what the bloody hell is that!?" He muttered before another one leaped onto his shoulder and began to beat on his head.
Kevin felt two of those damn monkeys jump on him but he managed to keep his balance as both began to rip and tear into his flesh. Growling to himself, Kevin forced himself into a car, crushing one monkey before dropping to the ground to put all weight on the second one, feeling the skeleton crumble under him.
Rebecca grabbed the beast by the neck, but was unable to stop it as it sank its razor sharp teeth into the flesh around her collar bone before ripping it off. She screamed in agony before sinking her nails into its neck, feeling the skin easily tear away before she gave it a good twist, feeling the bone snap under the pressure. The elimator gave one final shriek before slumping in her hands. Shaking a bit, she tossed the body off before reaching a hand up to her wound, feeling the revealed bone and tissue. A shiver went throughout her whole body before she painfully pushed herself off the ground and to her feet.
"You okay?" Richard asked, the right side of his face was tore and scratched badly.
"I'll live" she replied before watching as Kevin entered the scene, "You okay?"
"I've.....been better" Kevin shrugged.
"What happened?" Edward asked as he rushed pasted, clearly out of breathe.
"nothing, lets just find the others" Richard muttered as he rubbed his face.
As his words left his lips, Forest and the other two appeared, blood staining their clothes as most of it was washed away.
"Lets go find somewhere dry and warm" Enrico muttered painfully as he set off.
"Please" Forest groaned.
An hour more of walking passed before they managed to find a store with boards in the windows and a pedlock around the door, which Forest broke with Richard's axe.
Pulling the chain off, Enrico kicked the door open and searched the abandoned place. It was clean and little blood remained on the wall.
"Alright, we'll stay here. keep an eye out" he said before sitting down in a nearby chair.
Rebecca stumbled in before Kenneth picked her up and placed her up on the counter.
"Please....you really shouldn't..." Rebecca started before noticing they had stopped in a bar.
Forest headed over to the shelves of liquor and snatched himself a bottle before setting behind the counter. He was trailing water everywhere.
Edward shuttered in pain as he tore his shirt off, blood was still leaking from his wounds.
"I'll check the back rooms" Richard commented as he walked off towards the door behind the bar.
He found it unlocked and went ahead and entered. Looking about, he found a small storage room with boxes upon boxes of beer and liquor. Snorting, he looked around and found a extra sweatshirt which he eagerly took before exiting and going back into the bar. He entered the bar and found it silent.
Kevin pulled his soaked shirt off, finding it hard as his wounds began to pound with pain.
"We're screwed man. If we can't even fucking take on a few damn monkeys, much less so damn zombies" Kevin cursed, shuttered with pain himself.
"Dude......shut up" Forest commented as he neriously poured himself some brandy into a shot glass, his hands were shaking so bad he missed, "Fuck!" he slammed the bottle down before resting his head in his hands, "I'm...just so fucking scared right now." he confessed softly, running his hands down his face, "we're gonna fucking die here. I mean...come on...look at us, we barely make one person all together damn it!" he tossed the bottle of bandy into a wall, his whole body shaking.
Enrico sighed, his team was falling apart and he didn't blame them. They were exhausted, soaked to the bone and in pain.
"we're gonna die here" Kevin remarked.
"Come on, don't say that" Kenneth muttered, placing his hands on Kevin's shoulders, "We'll get through this. I mean look at it like this....we're all still alive and so we're wet and hurting, we still have a beating heart and each other"
"He's got a point" Richard finally spoke up before he gave a deep sigh and then a chuckle escaped him, "I mean...come on....Rebecca's holding up better than we are and she's the only women on our team"
"That's different man, women were built strong, men were bred to think we're strong" Forest muttered, he had found another bottle of brandy and drank deeply from it.
Rebecca let a soft smile come to her face, "we'll make it as long as we can trust each other. We're a team and so far, we have barely proven to be one"
"She's right" Enrico muttered as he got up, his wound paining him slightly but he ingored it with a soft groan, "I'll go next door and see if I can't find any clothes for us" with that, he got up and left. Kenneth didn't mutter a word but he got up and followed.
Richand gently balled the sweatshirt in his hands before walking over to Rebecca, handing it to, "Here, try to stay warm"
She took it without a word and watched he settled down at a table, resting his head in his hand.
"Hey Becky....." Forest muttered, "got anything for pain?"
She looked at him for the first time since they arrived and noticed his swollen face, the blood had dried all over it and his nose was broken.
"Yeah" she muttered before reaching into her medic pouch and handing him a bottle of aspin.
He took it gracefully and quickly downed three pills before washing it down with brandy.
A few minutes later, the two men returned with a armful of extra clothes, Enrico sporting a new bite mark on his upper arm.
The men wasted no time removing shirts and pants to change into new ones while Rebecca tried her best to keep her eyes on the ceiling. It wasn't until Richard finished dressing that he noticed this.
"Oh damn" he muttered, getting the other men's attention, "here we are undressing and getting undecent in front of our medic"
"She likes it" Forest replied as he flexed his arms, "you know you want this"
Rebecca chuckled, "I want that as much as I want a bullet to my head"
"Burn buddy" Kevin commented as he slipped on a tight black shirt which fit him well.
Richard laughed before walking over and helping Rebecca off the counter, handing her a pile of dry clothes, "you can change in the back room"
"Or right here, either one" Forest shrugged.
She gave a shake of her head before heading into the back room.
"you are a jackass" Richard commented as him and Forest slapped hands.
Finishing pulling the dry shirt over her head, Rebecca gently pulled on the bandage she applied onto her collarbone before taking note of the first aid kit on the wall.
Perfect.

"He thinks he can just fucking boss us around! We're the fucking government damnnit!" Chad cursed wildly as he paced back and forth in their hotel room, he was nerious smoking as he did.
"well....I think we should just go in there and kill them all" Blaze suggested from his postion on the bed.
Lancer rolled his eyes, "Damnnit Blaze, don't you think for once. We can't do that!"
The Older man glared at him, "And why the hell not!"
"Think for once man, do you seriously think that we can sneak in there? There's like three to four of them in one room. They'll hear us muchless a fucking gunshot. You could probably kill one before getting a gernade shoved in your gut"
Blaze rasied an eyebrow before laying back down on the bed, "You think too much man. You saw them, they're pretty much dead from lack of sleep, we'd be doing them a favor"
"He's got a point" Daniels commented as he pushed himself off the wall before strolling over to Chad, draping an arm around his shoulders, "We kill'em and take their supplies, easy enough man. Only I say we keep the medic, we need someone who knows how to fix a bandages"
Lancer growled under his breath, "You're just saying that because you find her attractive you fucking hound-dog"
Daniels replied with the middle finger before going back to Chad, "Come on, lets go with Blaze's idea. we're the government, we have every right to destory anything that gets in our way."
"Of course we do" Chad sighed before shrugging, "I...I really don't see a problem with it"
Lancer felt his jaw drop, "Fucker. Don't you think killing those innocent lives with simply haunt you for life. You'll go to Hell for it bastard!"
Chad looked up sharly at his comrade, "Listen to me you son of a bitch..." he took a step towards Lancer, who gracefully followed.
"Hey okay got a better idea" Blaze said as he got up from the bed, "Lets just take their supplies and high tail it out of here, leave them alive but denfenseless"
"Done, lets move out" Chad ordered as Daniels and Blaze high fived.
Lancer almost wanted to punch his leader and scream at him to out screw himself and that he wasn't gonna be apart of this plan but instead he kept his mouth shut and followed them.
Blaze silently crept into the first hotel room, the loud snoring covered his footsteps on the floor of the kitchen which squeaked softly. Dropping to his hands and knees, he army crawled over to the bed and took the sniper rifle that was leaning against the wall. Placing it close to the kitchen floor, he went back and grabbed the magnum form the night table next to Enrico's bed. He froze when the Bravo Team leader stirred a bit before going back to sleep. He placed the gun in his side pocket before heading over to the heilcopter pliot on the couch with the broken fingers. Blaze narrowed his eyes as he took the handgun from the ground before removing the extra one from the man's belt without stirring him. Proud of himself, Blaze crawled back to the kitchen and took the other weapons he stole and silently exited the room. Leaving the door open.
"Got'em" Blaze muttered as Lancer flat out ingored him. He shrugged before going out into the lobby area.
Chad and Daniels crept into the last room, stopping at the snoring before continuing their way.
"Take that one, I'll get the others" Chad whispered as he montioned his plan.
Nodding, Daniels dropped to the floor before army crawling to his assisted place. Crawling in, the only sound was that of his racing heartbeat and the soft breathing of the two people accompanying the bed. Inching his way closer, Daniels grabbed the assualt shotgun that was propped on the wall and quickly strapped it to his back before silently rising to his feet, noticing the two nuzzling together on the bed. It was that medic and the army haircut guy. Smirking, Daniels reached over and unstrapped the gun from the medic's belt. It was an odd custom. Closer exmanintion of it proved it to be a militry issued handgun with several upgrades.
What an odd gun for a medic, much less a girl.
Shrugging it off, he took the other extra handgun on the night table before placing both in his side pockets.
Chad crawled to the large man on the couch, easily taking the shotgun from the floor before snatching the handgun from the limp fingers. Smirking, he nodded to Daniels who carefully removed the large gernade launcher from the chair and the vest of extra gernades from behind the chair. Both met up in the hallway with their arms full of weapons and ammo before leaving that door open as well.
"Alright men, lets move out" Chad exclaimed as they walked out of the hotel into the chilly night air.
"Hell ya" Blaze commented from far away, "Found a working vehicle"
Chad headed over and watched as Blaze tore the plastic covering off it to reveal a clean inside with no dead driver or passenger. He nodded to the other two headed over and between the three, they placed all the weapons in the back compartment before jumping in.
Lancer gave a heavy sigh as he got in and watched the hotel disappear out of sight as Blaze slammed on the gas. The fucker left every door open so any creature of the night could crawl in. He silently prayed for the team.
The feel of something slick and wet drop on his cheek was enough to stir Forest for a moment as he rolled onto his back and cracked his eyes open, suddenly hooked on the image above him.
A long wet tongue whipped around from skinless lips as a exposed brain throbbed above him. The revealed muscles of the entire body was practically covered in slime or blood as the creature hung to the ceiling with sharp claws.
He felt like one of those people who saw a bug on the ceiling, knowing it was gonna fall eventurally but still never did anything like move and then were surprised when it fell on them.
Carefully, he started to reach for a handgun Rebecca left on the night table beside him. The bed squeaked. loud.
Hissing, the licker above him let go of the ceiling and like a cat, twisted its body so that it landed on him righways.
"Sweet Jesus!" Forest exclaimed as he quickly used his hands to keep the sharp teeth from his throat while it struggled to get it claws out of the mattress.
Richard jolted awake, accidently waking Rebecca who was resting on his shoulder. Both froze at the sight as Forest fought the licker with bare hands and losing as its claws tore form the mattress and into his shoulders.
"Do something!" Forest shouted as he tried to kick the bastard off him without any lucky.
Richard reached for him gun, only to feel his hand hit the wall. He turned to see it wasn't anywhere close to where he had left it, it wasn't anywhere!
"What the hell" He commented as Rebecca found herself defenseless as well.
"ohshitohshitohshitohshitohshitohshit" Forest muttered to himself over and over before a horrible gashing sound was heard as the licker fell limp on him, the leather end of a knife hand enbedded in its brain. He looked up so see Kenneth pull it out before pulling the body off him.
"Thanks dude" Forest said, his voice trembling a bit as he looked over to the other two, "No thanks"
Richard frowned, "Dude, we couldn't find out weapons!"
Forest sighed, "That why you leave them where you can remember them like I do, see mine is over there in that chair"
Rebecca looked over and saw only one chair and it was empty.
"No it's not....."
Forest frowned, "yeah it is, it's over......ahhh damnnit" he looked over to see his own weapon gone.
"Seem like we've been robbed" Kenneth sighed before pocketed his knife after wiping the brain tissue on the bed covers.
Forest sighed as well before punching the wall, cracking the plaster.
Rebecca frowned, she lost the one thing Billy gave her to protect herself, he said consider it a gift and that it was a token of his thanks and a reminder that when she needed his help, he would be there and now, the gun wasn't anywhere to be seen. It made her upset but she would never tell the others why it was so important.
"Bastards. I bet it was those fuckwads from the government" Richard said brutally.
Shifting about in his sleep, Kevin felt a cold hand on his shoulder before he smacked it awhile, thinking it was someone who was trying to wake him. He was exhausted and didn't want to even think about waking up. However the cold hands clung to his shoulder with an iron grip. He finally groaned and rolled over on his back, expecting to see Edward or Enrico, not the rotting, undead face that was lingering over him.
Kevin let out a surprised shout before the zombie collapsed on him, both hands held onto his shoulders as Kevin fought back with his hands balled into fists and striking the zombie in the chest and throat. Neither affected it much.
Enrico shot up at the shout and quickly leaped from his bed and into the living room where Kevin was suppose to be sleeping on the couch. But upon entering it, he saw a whole new scene as a zombie towered over his helicopter pliot.
"I could use some help!" Kevin exclaimed before watching as the undead teeth sank deep into his bicep.
Enrico wasted no time and grabbed a lamp from a table before crashing it over the zombie's head, leaving the heavy bronze base which he used to beat the creature to a bloody pulp on their hotel floor.
"Fuck man" Kevin growled as he covered his arm. It didn't rip any flesh anyway but the teeth marks were still there and bleeding madly.
"You'll be fine for now" Enrico commented, watching as Edward stumbled in, sleep still clear in his eyes as he yawned.
"what happened?" He asked sleepily.
Kevin frowned, "I just got attacked by a zombie"
That was enough to wake up the giant as he blinked his eyes awake, "But...." he looked over at the door to see it wide open before Forest came in, his shoulder suffering from cuts and scratches but nothing major.
"Captian, fucking goverment took all our guns, left the doors and windows open for monsters to attack us. We got fucked man" Forest commented, watching Enrico give a heavy sigh.
"Damnnit. So they chose to take our supplies but leave us behind defenseless. Bastards" Enrico muttered to himself mostly before running a hand down his face, what were they going to do now? His team was lost without weapons in a zombie infested city and he'd be damned if he let any of them die.
"Hey......it's not that bad. we wait until dawn, most of the monsters will go into hiding or slumber, then we can just travel carefully through the streets, find what we can and ditch whatever we certainly don't need" Rebecca suggested as she limped to the doorway, "If we start now, we can at least get a head start on our way out"
"Yeah and if we start now, we can catch up to those guys and beat the shit out of them" Forest growled as he popped his knuckles, "Fuckers will get what's coming to them soon enough"
"Alright, lets go. The further we get from this place the better" Enrico commented before grabbing his vest from the table, "At least they left us our knives"
"True that, fucking thing saved me" Forest replied, pointing to his wounds, "Damn Licker man, would got me too if Kenneth hadn't showned up like damn Rambo"
Kenneth stood in the back and gave a chuckle, "It's what I do man"
Gathering what they had left, Bravo team set out into the early morning, a slight fog still covered the roads as they used it to their advantage. The zombies were still stumbling around but remained unaware of new prey sneaking around them. Along the way, Forest managed to find a tire iron and Kevin helped himself to a iron pipe while Richard pulled an axe out of a zombie's head, the goverment team went by here.
"whoa...." Enrico halted as he peeked around the corner of a building, peering into the street to the right of them. A huge, zombie lion was enjoying the flesh of a horse in the middle of the road.
"damn" Forest cursed as he watched two female lions joined him, "Lets go another way"
"we may have too" Enrico muttered before forcing them to turn back and find another way.
Three hours passed as they continued walking about, the sun was high above them as Forest was the first to resort to pulling his shirt off in a bid to cool off, an action that was disagreeable with Enrico. However Edward followed his suit as sweat began to cover his body.
Two more hours bid a bit of a breeze and change of weather as the two men quickly redressed. Richard let out a long sigh, the axe slung over his shoulder like his assualt shotgun use to be. The weight was lesser but the power wasn't close.
"Hey....sweet" Forest commented as he stopped.
"What is it?" Kevin asked as he stopped nexted to the southern boy.
"A freaking baseball field"
Enrico rolled his eyes, "Forest this really isn't the time"
"No seriously captain, I'm sure they have some baseball bats laying around, it's something to defend ourself with" Forest informed with a grin, "come on, think about it"
"Not bad thinking" Enrico replied before giving a sigh and placing his hands on his hips, "I don't see why not, it will provide some source defense. Well lets head over then"
Rebecca gave a painful sigh, her leg was killing her now, throbbing every passing second and the tight bandages made it worse. At first the walking didn't bother it but now, it hurt like hell.
"Wait..." She said, watching as the team stopped and turned to her, "You...you guys go ahead, I'll wait here" she gently leaned against a nearby car, shifting her weight off her leg.
"You must be crazy Becky" Forest commented, "We're not leaving you be...." His eyes wandered down to her leg, the blood was soaking the shirts he tied around it and streaming down her leg, "Jesus"
Kevin gave a soft smile before turning to the team, "You go ahead, I'll stay back with her"
Enrico was unpleased of leaving them but he trusted Kevin like he was actually on Bravo Team enough to feel half alright with the idea.
"Alright....we'll be back in a few minutes" He said, watching as Forest gave Kevin his tire iron and a pat on the back.
Kevin nodded and took the tire iron before watching them go off. He joined Rebecca by the car and noticed her holding her leg off the ground a few inches. It must've been killing her right now.
"Hey....I meant to tell you I found some bandages when I was looking for the ice machine last night" Kevin said as he fished out the roll from his side pocket, "I reckon now would be a good time to tell you"
Rebecca gave a soft chuckle before holding her hand out, "Yeah it would" he placed the roll in her hand before popping his neck.
"Want me to bandage it?" Kevin offered, watching her nod before closing her eyes for a moment, "You okay?'
"yeah...........it's just really bothersome right now" she replied before opening her eyes, watching as he took the roll from her and kneeled down before her, "Alright, just take the old bandages off and rewrap it"
Kevin nodded, simple enough. Only Forest tied the bandages. Southern sytle so it was impossible to undo. He sighed and withdrew his knife before cutting it off, watching as the bandage around her thigh fell off to reveal the pussing and raw muscle underneath. He winced as blood leaked out a bit before unrolling the gauze.
Rebecca gave a ragged sigh, feeling him wrap the gauze around the wound. It would definily hold up better than the shirt did and it didn't need to be wrapped so tightly.
Kevin finished the first wound and quickly bandaged the second one.
Forest reached the field first, finding the containers of baseball bats and quickly picked out a metal bat for himself
"Alright, grab what can be useful" Enrico ordered as he watched Richard and Edward grab a normal wood one.
"hey Kenneth...." Forest said as he threw a baseball in his direction.
The black man managed to swing his baseball bat in time to hit the ball, sending it flying with a crack.
"Damn" Forest commented, watching it hit a high sky building window.
"enough playing around" Enrico barked as the two stopped thier horse play, "Lets go back. I don't like leaving them along for too long"
"It's alright.....He's got some broken fingers" Edward commented.
"What's that got to do with anything?" Richard asked.
"I don't know"
Kevin winced slightly as she tighted the bandage around his arm but it was for the better.
"that should hold" She muttered before putting the remaining bandages in her pouch.
"Thanks" he replied before looking up as thunder began to rumble in the sky as dark clouds began to cover the sky, "Well fuck"
The minute the words left his lips the sky broke open.

A slight tap on her shoulder caused her eyes to flutter open as a soft groan escaped her lips. It was a few seconds for her eyes to forcus but when they did, she started up into those brown eyes above her. With another groan, she reached her hand up and pushed the face away from her before rolling over onto her side, resting her head on her folded arm.
"Come on Becky" Forest whined as he gently shook her shoulder once more, only to be met by a push of his hand, "Hey, we need to get moving before those fucking zombies overrun us"
After that comment, the brunette gave yet another heavy groan before pushing herself up, a soft yelp escaped her as her shoulder and back remained painfully sore and stiff.
Forest sighed, he hated the way they were forced to work around the clock with less than two hours of sleep everyday, but in order to survive they couldn't stay too long in one place. He jumped off the ragged bed and smooth out his black under armor before snatching his vest off the nearby chair, careful of the gernades he had sitting on it.
They had taken a night's rest at a beat up old hotel. It was him, Rebecca, Richard and Kenneth to one room with Enrico, Kevin, and Edward to the one next door. Running a hand through his long hair, Forest popped his stiff neck and watched as Richard came in, a lack of sleep was visible under his eyes as the younger man yawned loudly, his assualt shotgun slung over his shoulder. Soon after, Kenneth walked in with a serious tone on his face.
"Come on guys, we're leaving" His low gruff voice said, a bit of worry dripped in his words.
Forest yawned himself as he nodded, snatching his gernade launcher from the other bed and let Rebecca move ahead of him. She seemed to take the worse out of them. So young and fresh, the new situation was eating her from the inside out but nevertheless, she never complained.
Leaving the room, the four were joined by the exhausted helicopter pliots and their fearless leader, who stared off into the dawn sky.
Oh yeah, and another thing stuck out of this so called mission. While their raid of the town proved endless, they ran into a small government force squard, who insisted upon joining them. All of Bravo team disliked the cocky group. Probably Richard and Forest the most. Both had seen the looks the squard tossed at their only medic. Hell would break out if anyone of them tried anything besides a hungry stare. they would make sure of it.
"Well.....looks like we can cover more ground if we stick to the roads" Enrico said, more to himself as he stroked his chin.
"Consider it done" Edward commented as he shifted his sniper rifle from one hand to the other.
Enrico gave a nod before turning at the sound of appoarching footsteps, which only turned out to be the government squard with Captain Chad, rearmen Daniels, and backup men Lancer and Blaze. All had dirty blonde hair except Lancer with coal black. Their uniforms consisted of a bulletproof vest, a plain shirt underneather, camo pants with an utility belt and several gun hostilers. Also head gear to keep in touch.
"Well is your team ready?" Chad asked cockily as he smooth his hair back.
Enrico only snorted in repsonse, "Of course"
"Good then because I was thinking that we should spilt up to cover more ground" he said as he looked across the Bravo Team, most shared the same expression.
"Not happening. The last time we spilt up, I nearly lost my whole team. I won't risk it again" Enrico growled deeply.
"Enrico buddy, life is all about taking risks" Chad said casually before placing his hands on his hips, "And since you outnumber my team with strength and gunpower, we'll probably gonna need to borrow your medic"
Forest narrowed his eyes, "In Hell buddy" he commented from the back of the group, arms crossed and tattoo shown.
Chad raised an eyebrow, "excuse me?"
"You heard him" Richard snapped back, "In Hell. You should've brought your own medic and we'll be damned if you take ours" with that, he stood between Chad and the rest of the Bravo Team.
Chad narrowed his own eyes for a moment, "Sir, as part of the special Goverment force, we far outrule your command and you are automatically under our command!"
"Whoa whoa whoa, what?" Rebecca questioned bitterly, as she pushed past Richard, "We saved your sorry ass back there and now you're taking control?"
Forest nodded in agreement, they did save the small force from being overrunned by Lickers. Something he was starting to regret doing.
"You've got quite a mouth on you little girl" Daniels commented with a laugh.
Thankfully Enrico stepped between them, even as young and innocent she appeared, he knew Rebecca had a nasty temper when prokoved, ask Forest or Edward for their imput.
"Look, we stick together and make it out of this town. Split up and risk getting kill. You can do as you please but my mind is made up" He spoke before turning to his team, "get ready to move out, we leave on my command." with that, Bravo Team quickly gather their things and supplies before starting their way to the empty parking lot of the hotel.
"Your choice, leave or stay" Enrico said before walking off after his team, leaving the team to wonder.
Chad sighed angerily before turning to face his own team, "well men, any suggestions"
"well....I feel better with them, their at least experianced" Lancer commented, lighting a smoke.
"Then it's settled" Chad sighed before jogging over to Bravo Team, "well looks like we'll be joining you"
"Great..." Forest muttered under his breath as he tossed his head to the side.
Enrico grunted, "Alright then and as long as you do follow us, you listen to me got it? Or God help you, we'll abandon you in a flat second"
Chad gave a nerious laugh, "Of course, you're in command"
Enrico nodded before looking up at the morning sky, the sun was just rising, "Another long day ahead"
Hours upon of hours they spent roaming the fallen city, collecting what they could find and anything they could use. Wiping the heavy sweat from his brow, Enrico watched as the sun began to sink. It was about time to stop and look for a safe place to stay.
"Alright gang, lets look for a place for the night" He said, to the comfort of his exhausted team. All of them were fighting to stay awake, much less keep walking. He had to admire such courage and loyal. If they got alive, he'd threat them to a night out for some drinks.
"Thank God" Forest commented before catching sound of suffling feet. He glanced over his shoulder to see a group of the undead making their way over from around a missed corner, "We got company"
Edward quickly took aim at the one closest to them before a rotting hand grabbed his ankles from underneath a car he was by. With quick reflexs, he shot off the zombie's head with his rifle before going back to the enclosing group.
"Yeah got some here too" Richard exclaimed as a group appeared from an alleyway in front of them.
"Damnnit" Kevin cursed as he raised his handgun up to take potshots at the incoming group from the rear.
Taking a step back, Blaze tossed the toothpick he was chewing on before looking around for a way out, in which his eyes landed on a gas barrel not too far away which the undead group from the back were closely approaching it.
"Heads up!" He shouted before firing one submachine bullet into it and watched it burst out into flames.
The force of the explosing barrel threw Forest and Edward into the parked car beside them as Richard and Kevin were blown onto the sidewalk, hitting the brick wall of a side shop. Enrico winced but remained unmoved as he continued firing at the group in front of him. Three fell from his aiming before headshots claimed the last four, no thanks to Chad and his men, who eagerly cowarded behind cars for cover.
Wiping the sweat from his face now, Enrico turned to see his tore team picking themselves up from the explosion.
Rebecca gave a short cry of hurt as hot white pain traveled up her spine. Her body was sore now from being thrown into the hard ground but her left leg was killing her beyond horrible. Groaning painfully, she quickly grasped the pained area, bending her leg to get a better look. From her calf muscle to her knee then a small part of her upper thigh were burned and the skin was peeled back to reveal the bloody flesh as it burned her pants surrounding the area. She laid her leg back out flat on the ground, emitting another gasp of pain.
"Becky!" She heard Forest exclaimed as he dropped to his knees next to her, "You okay.....oh God" he noticed the burned flesh of her leg, the blackened flesh chipped away at pink flesh. Jesus, "Hang on"
Kevin growled as he picked himself up, if he found who ever did that, he was killing them with his own bare hands. Speaking of, he raised one hand to the back of his head and felt a bloody mass of hair before feeling pain shot up his other arm. A quick exmaination revealed three broken fingers and a badly bruised shoulder. Groaning, he looked over at Richard, who remained better off than him with just a simple gash on his forehead and a bloody elbow.
"Dude, I'm so killing them" Richard commented as he used the brick wall to pull himself up.
"I'll be there" Kevin replied as he pushed himself up and went to nursing his broken fingers.
Forest ran by them and entered the nearest side shop, using his foot to kick the door open before walking in without so much a look around.
Enrico was quick to find his team members; Edward had been knocked cold by was quickly woken with a shake. He had head trauma and a fractured thumb. Forest was nowhere to be seen as Kenneth approached him unharm beside a small burned mark on his cheek. Richard and Kevin were bloody and bruised but able to walk without a limp, surprisingly. He, however, found his medic on the ground in pain.
Crouching down, Enrico gently pushed a wet bang from her face, "I'm sorry to have gotten you into this..."
Rebecca gave a weak smile, "It's okay, I chose to be here and beside, it just a burn. It will heal in a few days"
Enrico only returned the smile before Kevin and Richard stumbled over, both crouched down on the other side to exmaine the nasty wound. Nothing major but still painful to look at.
Forest came flying back with extra shirts and other materials to use as bandages. He slowed to a trot before crouching down and began ripping the shirts up, "Sorry, couldn't find anything other than shirts to cover the wound."
"How southern" Rebecca commented, earning a look from the long haired man, "Just kidding"
"So what are you going to?" Kevin asked.
"Well till we find a safer place, I figure we can at least cover the wounds for the meantime" Forest replied as he finished ripping the shirts to his liking.
"Makes sense" Edward said before looking up as Chad and his men, unharmed, strolled over, "excuse me, I have a few chosen things to say to them for a moment"
Kevin growled, "I as well" he got up and followed the giant to greet the appoarching squard.
Enrico got hint of their plans and quickly left to prevent a outlash, which he successfully did as he grabbed Kevin's arm from swinging.
"each argument can be settled with a swing" he muttered before stepping in front of Chad, "what the hell was that?!"
"I don't see why you're upset?" Chad shrugged, "My men were just doing what they're trained to do and beside, we saved your ass" There was a solid crack before the man collapsed.
Enrico rubbed his knuckles, "Saved us? We had it under control until your pothead back up man nearly killed us all!"
Forest carefully draped one piece of a tore shirt around the wound on her upper thigh as Richard took to her side, gently easing his hand around her's for comfort.
"Alright, now tighten it" Rebecca said, tighting her grip on Richard's hand as Forest tied both end before tighting them roughly. She yelped painfully, thus scaring Forest to let go, "No, don't stop. Tighten it as tight as it can"
Forest was about to protest as he didn't want to hurt her but only shrugged it off, she was the medic here. He quickly tightened it and tied the to ends into a steady knot.
Rebecca didn't realize her nails sunk into Richard's hand as blood slowly trailed down his wrist. As Forest began to work on the wound on her calf muscle, her nails dug deeper into his hands.
"Alright.....that's good enough" Rebecca panted panifully, tears were on the edge of her eyes as Forest tied the knot. She released Richard's hand, still unaware of her blood stained nails.
Forest dusted his hands off before getting up, watching as Richard joined him.
"Okay, lets go" Richard sighed as he offered his bloody hand to Rebecca, who took it and with the help of the two men, rose to her feet, carefully favoring her injured leg.
"Listen here...." Chad started, holding a hand to his broken nose.
"No you listen, you're damn lucky we agreed to take your ass along with us. Now this is your last fucking chance to get it right or you might as well leave, you stay after from my team and you listen to my orders. I don't care for your training or your commands. My orders only, got it?" Enrico hissed bitterly.
"yes sir" the four said in unison.
"Good, now excuse me as I tend to my injured medic" with that, Enrico turned and started towards the other four.
he was glad to see Rebecca's wounds covered as she was offered support from both Richard and Forest, who had an arm tucked under hers.
"Now all we need to do is find a safe place to rest" Enrico said outloud, night was falling fast.
Kenneth chuckled, "I went ahead and found a hotel around the next corner. The doors were locked so I doubt anything's in there"
"Good, we'll make tracks for it then"
The two groups set off for the next block, finding exactly what Kenneth said. A high rise hotel with locked front doors, which were easily taken care of with a certain gernade launcher. Stepping inside, the group avoided amiring the fancy front lobby and instead, headed to the closest rooms which were down the hall from the front office.
Pushing one door open, Forest crepted in and made a fast run through of it. It was clean and untouched by the outside. he checked the bathroom and even under the beds. Nothing. with a happy sigh, he headed back out to the hall.
"Shotgun the queen sized bed" Forest smirked as Bravo Team shared a soft chuckle together.
"You know the rules. Two to a bed and one to a couch, we wake at dawn and don't bother Rebecca" Enrico commented, earning a look from the young medic, "Now get some sleep, we all deserve it." He headed off to the next room with Edward and Kevin.
"Alright ladies, I'm taking the bed. Rebecca can have the other one, Kenneth takes the couch and Richard can take the bathtub" Forest teased.
"Funny" Richard commented with a roll of his eyes before heading it. Definely a high class hotel room with a mini kitchen and full bedrooms with two bathrooms and a full living room.
Rebecca pain stakingly made her way to the first bed she saw and collasped on it, her leg was become numb as she placed it on a pillow.
Richard headed over and climbed on the bed next to her, laying head first into a pillow. with a soft giggle, Rebecca gently ran a finger over his injuried hand, which the blood had began to dry.
"How come you didn't tell me I was cutting into your hand?" She questioned as he looked up.
"To tell you the truth, I didn't notice" Richard replied, exmaining his own hand before shurgging it off, "Oh well"
"Oh well? It could get infected" she pressed, "At least let me tend it or clean it out"
"whatever you want, knock yourself out" he replied, putting his face back into the pillow.
She frowned but went searching into her side pouch before fishing out a roll of bandages. In seconds, she wrapped his hand carefully.
A thank you was barely heard from him before a hard knock came to the door. Forest, who had been snozing, quickly sprung up and looked through the door peekhole before chuckling and opening it wide to reveal Kevin.
"What brings you over?" Forest asked and got his answer as the ploit held up his hand.
Kevin headed into the bedroom and slowly entered, "I don't mean to interupt or anything but I was hoping you could do something about this"
Rebecca looked up as kevin showed his hand. The three broken fingers were swollen a bit now, along with bruising at the joints.
"That looks bad, let me see it" She said as he came closer. She gently took his hand and ran her soft fingers over his broken ones, "Yeah well it's swollen but not too bad. Let me see what I can do."
Kevin waited calmly as she wrapped the three fingers together to prevent anyother possible injury to them.
"I suggest ice to control the swelling, which I saw a ice machine on out way inside, see if it works. Also, take two of these if you feel any pain at all" she said, handing him a small orange bottle.
Kevin nodded, "Thanks. Better than Edwards suggestion of just cutting them off"
Rebecca chuckled, "That would just be more damage. They're just fractured so becareful, okay"
"yeah. Thank you" he said before leaving, passing Forest who still held the door open and closed it once Kevin left.
"Going back to bed, if someone knocks, you get it" Forest said before jumping on his bed, instantly falling asleep.
Richard sighed and rolled onto his back, which felt better than anything else as he kicked his boots over the edge of the bed. His feet were sore from walking all day and his legs felt like they were on fire from stiffness but laying down made it all go away.
Rebecca yawned and rolled onto her side, facing Richard as her head rested on his shoulder.

"I don't understand why you just won't accept this fact?" Bruce growled as he threw his hands out to emphrases his point, "It's clear as day!"
He only watched as the red head in front of him took a long drag of his smoke before letting it out. A mean look set on the guy's face as he soon tossed the smoke aside.
"Look Bruce, I respect as a friend and as a fellow gang member but I WILL NOT tolerate you coming into my house and forcing this theory of yours into my head. We are NOT related nor will we ever been."
Bruce let out an angry sigh, "Crow, come on think about it, seriously. Your father is in jail for murder while my mother was killed burtally for having his love child. You cannot deny our resembles!" he exclaimed.
"Listen kid!" Crow nearly shouted, "Shut the hell up and get the hell out of my house or God help me I'll beat that theory straight out of you!"
His long ears pinned back but Bruce didn't flinch at the threat, instead he took a step forward, which proved to be his downfall.
A hard crack sent him into the wall as Crow gathered a fistfull of his white shirt, "What did I tell you damn it!"
"Sorry for wanting to find out the truth of my mother" Bruce rudely replied as he felt blood drip from his nose.
"who cares kid" Crow scuffed before Bruce's fist struck him in the face, causing him to release his shirt and made Crow stumble, "fuck kid"
Bruce rubbed his knuckles angierly as the tiger in front of him rubbed where he had been struck, "wanna say another smart comment jackass?"
Crow growled before withdrawing his claws and slicing the cabbit across the chest, drawing blood before he swung once more, striking in the face once more.
The once innocent argument turned into a full blown fist fight as they were throwing punches left and right. Blood spattered on the wall as Bruce's skull had a hard contact with it before Crow's hand was fractured from a painful collsion with Bruce's elbow.
"Whoa! Hey!" a voice exclaimed as Annie came flying around the corner after hearing all the noise. Without another thought, she leaped into the fight as Cali followed soon behind her.
Leave the guys alone for two minutes to get drinks and they're fighting. She quickly grabbed ahold of Crow's arms, earning a rough blow to the gut. Growling, she hooked her arms underneath his and pinned them back by the elbows, a impossible move to escape from. She heard him snarl as his heart pounded like mad in his chest as his breathing sounded labored, his tongue hanging out of his mouth.
Cali had it much easier as she placed a comforting hand on Bruce's broad chest and the other gently stroked his neck. He had a fighter's expression on his face but seemed to calm down much faster as Crow still slightly struggled in her own hold.
"Calm down" Annie whispered softly in his ear, which were pinned back. A soft lick of her tongue to his neck quickly calmed him as his body became limp a bit, "Now what happened?"
Crow spat out a wad of loose blood, "why don't you tell them pretty boy?"
Bruce let out a snarl before settling down, "Just wanted to know why he denies our relationship. I mean come on Crow! You know we have to be related, I mean look at it, you father had an affair and killed the other women. My mother slept with a married man and was killed by her. I remember seeing your father there dammnit!"
Cali pinned her ears back, she had never seen Bruce so passionate about something before. His ears were shot right up, his teeth shown and hands clenched.
"He does have a right to know" Cali commented, looking at her sister and Crow, "you're the only one who knows."
Annie pinned her ears back, "Hey! He can choice if he wants to tell or not"
"Excuse me?" Cali questioned with an attitude. Was Annie sticking up for that drunken bastard? Like always.
Annie was about to shoot back a response but Crow took the moment to releash his hands.
"Okay fine if you want to know then fine! Alright my dad did kill your mother but in a long shot, he killed everyone in my family. My brother strived to be like him and got killed for it, my mother died from grief and I was never good enough. So if you want to know that fucker as your father then fine by me" Crow snapped, pulling a pack of smokes out of his pocket and with shaking hands, he lit it with a lighter. With a long drag, he quickly relaxed and closed his eyes, "You wanted to know and now you do, are you happy?"
Bruce blinked a few times as he watched the tiger, those scars that covered his body suddenly made sense. Every five inch scar that covered him like another skin was self inflicked. He made himself look like that.
"No, I'm not" Bruce said, finding his voice finally, "I'm sorry to have reopened old wounds.
A chuckle found Crow's lips as he took a long inhale, "It's alright, they're always open kid. You're a fucking brusier" he popped his neck, feeling everywhere Bruce punched him light up with pain.
Annie watched him, he was calm but his eyes were clealy pained as she gently placed a comforting hand on his arm. He snorted.

Sometihng I typed late at night so don't except anything great and sorry for spelling or grammer errors. Also I'm trying this journal tihng out too. kind like a demo thing. It's a scene from like a story or game I want to do someday.
~~~~~~~~
Her grip on her gun was a killer as Rosetta moved her feet one in front of the other without a sound as she moved around a corner slowly. She could hear the others move behind her. Monroe was closer to her while Lenora and Alva kept the rear up, looking behind them at every sound they heard. They were in the far underground levels of the research facility which dangerous and illegal experiments were being conducted. They had lost contact with this one base a couple weeks ago and sent a team in to investigate but it appeared the experiments were more sinster than thought until upon the location of a wokring computer a couple of halls back revealed a massive virus eating away at the system. Since most of the work down here was done with robots and other computer controlled, it all went high wire and straight to hell. Most of the scientist, or whatever they found left of them were brutally slaughter, several limps were missing, appeared to ripped off. Rosetta held her breath for awhile, the hallways reeked of death and old body parts, most of it caked the halls, floors and ceiling. Jesus, whatever had walked through here hours before had killed and slaughtered anytihng in its path, leaving the messy trail of entails and internal fluids everywhere. From behind her, the whited haired Monroe cursed at the smell as Alva tried to keep her lunch in while Lenora seemed not to be really bothered by it. She couldn't be human. Traveling a bit further day, Rosetta swiftly took a sharp turn around a corner, her shotgun raised to eye level as she looked tot he left then right then left again. From as far as she could see in the dimly lit hall, it was clear. She glanced over her shoulder and nodded, montioning the others to follow her. She wasn't theleader of the team, it was Monroe but due to her excellent shooting skills and lack of fear, she took lead. Plus in case anytihng came out, she'd take the hit, she didn't want to admit it against her cold heart but this team was starting to grow on her.
"Do you know where you're going? Alva asked, her gun kept raised as she glanced around herself.
"Not a clue" Rosetta replied as she heard a soft groan behind her.
She didn't have a hell's clue where she was going but her sense of direction felt right to take this turn, maybe there was sometihng important down this way or a monster. She shook the thought out her head before stopping in her tracks. Her trained eyes looked through the darkness, the hall was lined with.....jail cells? No, these were experimental cells, built for holding some sort of animals or creatures. She didn't have a very good feelign with the way some of the bars were bend and broken, some even had blood on them. Rosetta didn't even want to think about whatever came out of that so she simply moved on, slowing her pace to make sure if any sound was made, she'd hear it.
"Stop for a minute" Monroe whispered as Rosetta froze before glancing back at her.
Her index finger was placed on her full lips, her trained ears had caught sometihng, distance yet close. She wasn't sure what it was but it sounded almost like claws agaisnt the cold, concret floor. She heard it again but it was louder and she caught the look in Rosetta's blue eyes and knew she had heard it to.
"What is that?" Alva asked, she used to like surprised but now, not anymore.
"I'm not..." Monroa started before crashing caused her to leap and turn swiftly to in fornt of them.
The very end of the hallway, a pile of steel pipes had been knocked over while the soft sound of grunting was heard. Their guns were trained on the enteirng target as Rosetta narrowed her eyes to get a better look in the darkened hall. This tihng didn't sound like the other creatures they had found. No, it almost sounded completely animal while the others had some sort of human thing to it. It was getting closer, the clicking claws growing.
"sweet Jesus, holy mother in heaven" Alva muttered udner her breath, those claws were growing in sound and power with every step.
Rosetta quickly pushed a crimson bang from ehr face and went back to gripping her shotgun, just as it's head reeled aroudn the corner.
Lenora blinked, what the hell was that tihng? Its snout peeked then it's entire face, revealing the repitian face, almost raptor like with it's long narrow nose, ending with two slits as nosetrils as its eyes were positioned on either side of its head. Powerful and thick scales littered the skin up to its forehead before what seemed to be a bushy, white mane appeared, like a lion. It's head was massive, the size of a small suitcase with sharp teeth over lapping it's lower lips.
"Bloody..." Rosetta commented, slightly lowering her gun.
Its head was only two inches from the floor, no possible way was sometihng with such a head have such a small body. Her comment was answered as the creature made a soft almost cooing sound before it rasied it head to full height, coming halfway up the seven foot doorframe.
"Jesus" Alva almost complained, she'd had enough for one day and now this was sprung on them.
It came aroudn the corner full, swing it's head a bit to show off the heavy mane around it's head and only down it's center chest with only one streak down it's back. It's neck was about four feet long yet it wasn't at full lenght since he had his head reared back. The chest was fuzzy yet packed with scales as large staples appeared across it's chest and along its side as it's front legs were sometihng else.
"What the fuck" Monroe cursed at the new view of the monster.
It's fornt legs are tear off human arms, stapled and probably surgically attrached to the body. Only the fingertips were removed and replaced with metal claws, welted onto the skin. The arms were muscluar and hairy, a large tattoo on the left one as the creature seemed trained on walking on the fingertips with plams in the air. Halfway down its back appeared to be more staples and scars as the spine took a dramtic downward angle to reveal the caine hind legs, from the coloring, it appeared to be from a german shepard but no way for sure sicne blood caked it. It ended with a long, whip like tail ending with three spikes at the tip.
"...Errr....what is that?" Lenora asked as she noticed Alva take a step back.
"A damn monster" Alva exclaimed as she took a couple more steps before taking off back the way they came, snatching Lenora's arm in the process, dragging the girl behidn her as Monore didn't waste time to join them.
Rosetta cursed under her breath as she took her own step back, the creature roared. It echoed in the small hall, almsot a mixture of a lion and a raptor as it nearly deafened her before it pushed its hands off the ground, standing well trained on it's smaller canine feet. Despite of the different body sizes, it all evened out in the end as its head barely brushed the ceiling.
"I'll be damned" Rosetta muttered to herself as a smile curled on her lips, "Your eyesight is weak so you depend on movement which is why your roar is so damn loud, it's suppose to stun your prey isn't it?" she seemed to enterain herself with the new discovery. It didn't make a move towards them until the others ran.
It roared again before lunged forward, its hand barely missing her stomach as she failed to noticed the distance between them. She whiped her shotgun and fired twice, watchign it blow off a chunk of scales on its shoulder before she felt those claws sink into her own shoulder and slam her into the hard wall, breaking some of the bars and sending her into a cell. Maybe she should've left with the others but she had to find it's weakness, in case they were to run into more of them. Without missing a beat, she rolled onto her side and leaped up, watching as the creature failed ot be able to get in himself.
"Come on fucker, wehre is your weakness?" Rosetta muttered, wiping the blood from her lips.
The creature growled and snapped at her as it paced the cell before snorting and turning it's head to the ebginning of the hall. Rosetta was about to bring her gun up before hearing gunshots, watchign the creature get kncoked back before crouching down and roaring. She watched as a single bullet stuck it's staple in the chest and it bursted open, painting the floor with black blood. That was it! Rosetta whipped ehr gun up and aimed straighted for the revealed stales of its hindqauters before firing twice, watching htem brust off and send more blood spraying. The creature gave a pityful roar before dropping to it's elbows, still growing and hissing though. Monroe walked into her veiw and raised her gun to about a foot from the monster's forehead before pulling the tirgger three times. They cut through the soft patch of skin just barely where scales met fur and it exited out with a massive of brain tissue as the creature fell limp, its mouth still open with a long purple tongue hanging out.
"Hey Ros' kind of forgot about ya" Alva joked, neriously scratching the back of her head with a smile on her lips.
Rosetta merely looked at her before claimbign out of the cell, her shoulder hurt but it was only a new scar as the four deep cuts bled madly. Her back hurt but she would get over it in awhile.
"Thanks" she muttered as she walked pass Monroe, getting a nod in repsonse.
"Well team, lets head back and foudn any other hallway we missed" Monroe started ebfore more clicking sounds came.
The end of the hall revealed five more shadows of those things.
"Whcih mean lets run as fast as we can like hell" Alva commented.
"For ocne I'll agree with you" Rosetta said as she took a step back before speeding off with the rest of the crew close behind.
